Whether you’re the first person to spot a potentially harmful disease, or your tree gets a clean bill of health, every survey you complete is important.
By sending us all of your results, you will help scientists draw a picture of the health of Britain’s most common trees.
You will also learn more about the trees around you and how long they may have been growing in your neighbourhood, school grounds or local park.
Reporting any pests or diseases you find will help us understand their distribution, how they interact together, and how their impact varies from one year to the next.
Spotting new and alien pests and diseases is particularly important because we may only have limited information on how widespread they could become and the range of tree species they could affect.
